JUDGMENT ON MENCAP OVERNIGHT SLEEP-IN CASE

At 10am on Friday 13 July 2018, the Court of Appeal is due to hand down its much-anticipated judgment in the case of Royal Mencap Society v Tomlinson-Blake on the issue of whether workers carrying out overnight ‘sleep-in’ shifts are entitled to be paid the National Minimum Wage for the entire duration of those shifts.
