LITTLETON CYCLISTS RAISE MONEY FOR THE JEREMY MCMULLEN MEMORIAL FUND

Shortly before his recent untimely death His Honour Jeremy McMullen QC set up the Jeremy McMullen Memorial Fund. Its aims are to increase access to the Bar for female students from disadvantaged and/or underrepresented backgrounds. Details of the Memorial Fund can be found here

Jeremy McMullen was a popular and well-known figure in the employment law community, initially as an advocate and latterly as a judge in the EAT. Employment law is one of Chambers’ principal areas of practice. Increasing access to the Bar is a worthy and important aim. The Memorial Fund is therefore a charity that Littleton Chambers is delighted to support.

In order to raise money for the Jeremy McMullen Memorial Fund a team from Littleton Chambers will be completing the London Cycle Sportive on 10 May 2015. This is a bike ride of varying distances – the longest route is over 100 miles – starting from Dulwich Park, taking in the Surrey Hills and concluding with a lap of the historic Herne Hill Velodrome. Completing the Sportive will prove a challenge to a team of barristers whose enthusiasm is not in all cases matched by corresponding level of fitness.

The Littleton Peloton comprises David Reade QC, Gavin Mansfield QC, Jeremy LewisDaniel Tatton Brown, Carol Davis, Niran de Silva, Nicholas Goodfellow, Craig Rajgopaul, and Sophia Berry.

We would be delighted if you would sponsor the Littleton cyclists in support of a very worthy cause, by donating to the Jeremy McMullen Memorial Fund.
