All Littleton affair in High Court conspiracy trial

Following a 9-day High Court speedy trial, judgment has just been handed down in (1) Bourne Rail Limited (2) Beaver Management Services Limited v. (1) Ashton (2) Rockliffe (3) Hall (4) Healey (5) Xrail Solution Limited (6) Xrail Group Limited, in which all parties were represented by Counsel from Littleton.  A copy of the judgment can be found here

HHJ Forster QC (sitting as a Judge of the High Court) dismissed the claims for breach and enforcement of restrictive covenants, unlawful means conspiracy/common design, breach of contract/confidence, and inducement, awarding the Defendants their costs.

Adam Solomon, who is to be appointed Queen’s Counsel in this year’s ceremony, appeared for the First Defendant, instructed by Dan Rubin, Partner at Hill Dickinson LLP.

Niran De Silva, appeared for the Second, Third and Fourth Defendants, instructed by Emma Hamnett, Partner at Clarke Willmott LLP.

John Mehrzad, appeared for the Fifth and Sixth corporate Defendants, instructed by Malcolm Pike, Partner at Addleshaw Goddard LLP.

Chris Quinn, appeared for the Claimant, instructed by Paul Lunt, Partner at Brabners.
