The issue concerns whether the English Court should recognise and enforce a Russian judgment, Itself enforcing a Russian postnuptial agreement, and awarding the ex-husband a substantial net sum. Issues of natural justice and public policy arise, as well as issues of the proper content of Russian law in relation to contractual interpretation, amendment and unjust enrichment.
