David Reade QC obtains permission to seek a Judicial Review of the Pension Regulator
David Reade QC succeeded before Mr Justice Mitting in obtaining permission for his client, Fleet Maritime Services (Bermuda) Ltd, to proceed to a judicial review hearing of the decision of the Pensions Regulator on the territorial reach of auto enrolment under the Pensions Act 2008. The central issue is whether the Act extends to the crews of cruise ships that spend the majority of their time outside UK territorial waters. The hearing will take place in the autumn.
