David Reade QC succeeds in defence of claims against the Independent on Sunday

David Reade QC successfully defended the Independent on
Sunday against claims brought by five of
its former arts critics, whose contracts with the newspaper had been
terminated. The former critics alleged thatcontractual arrangements with the newspaper meant that they were either
employees and or workers. David succeeded in establishing that they had a
freelance relationship with the newspaper. David was instructed by Taylor
Vinters.
