Alan M. Anderson
Alan M. Anderson joined Littleton as an Associate Tenant and International Arbitrator in November 2017. He is an internationally recognized arbitrator, arbitration counsel, and trial lawyer with over thirty years of experience. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and is certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a civil trial advocate and by the Minnesota State Bar Association as a civil trial specialist in the United States. Alan practices primarily in the areas of international arbitration and dispute resolution, commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, and appellate advocacy. Alan is a co-editor of ‘The Investor-State Dispute Settlement System: Reform, Replace or Status Quo?’ with Ben Beaumont, published by Kluwer Law International in 2020.
Prof. Anthony Daimsis
Anthony Daimsis has been teaching at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law since 2003. He is the current Director of the National Program, a program that leads to a dual JD/LL.L degree. He is also the Director of the common law’s mooting program. Prof. Daimsis teaches Contracts and Torts law, International Sales law, International Arbitration, ADR and legal writing. He also supervises the common law Jessup, Vis and FDI moot teams. He has advised South Asian countries in the area of Foreign investment and investment treaties. Prof. Daimsis is called to the Ontario Bar (Barrister and Solicitor).
Venetia Argyropoulou
Venetia Argyropoulou is a Law Lecturer at the European University Cyprus and the Hellenic International University (Master – University of Oslo, PhD – University of Tilburg). She is educated in both civil and common law and has been actively practicing law in Greece and Cyprus. She has worked as a researcher for Oxford University, University Nanterre, the University of Cyprus, and as a Lecturer for the University of West London and the University of South Wales. She is the General Counsel of KAPE TECHNOLOGIES PLC, a listed company in the London Stock Exchange.
Margie Jaime
Margie-Lys Jaime, PhD., FCIArb, is Professor of Law at the University of Panama. She also acts as consultant and expert in commercial, trade and investment matters. Her practice includes international litigation, maritime disputes, commercial arbitration, investor-state dispute settlement, and international trade. Currently, she is adviser at Minister of Finance and Economy of the Republic of Panama. She received her PhD in Law and LLM in International Economic Affairs Law from the University of Paris II (Pantheon-Assas), an LLM in Arbitration and International Business Law from the University of Versailles (France), and an LLM in International Business and Economic Law with a Certificate in WTO Studies from Georgetown University Law Center, Washington D.C. She is admitted to practice law in Panama, the State of New York, U.S.A., and holds the Certificate of Aptitude for the legal profession (CAPA) in Paris, France. She is Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration (FCIArb), and the President of the Mediation and Arbitration Committee of the National Bar Association of Panama (2019-2021).
