Following a Court of Appeal hearing in March 2024, the UK Supreme Court granted his foreign state client permission to appeal in the leading case on state immunity to employment claims under international law (Saudi Arabia v Costantine). In November 2023 and March 2024, he appeared for Kuwait in a disability and age discrimination trial, currently on appeal to the EAT under the Vienna Convention (Mohamed v The Government of the State of Kuwait).
