John Mehrzad appeared in High Court defamation action before Mr Justice Eady in Sam Allardyce v Steve Kean and Blackburn Rovers relating to comments made by Mr Kean about Mr Allardyce during Blackburn Rovers’ pre-season tour last summer. The current West Ham United manager, Mr Allardyce, received an apology read out in open court on behalf of Mr Kean, the former Blackburn Rovers manager. The remaining terms of settlement are confidential.
