Littleton Maintains its Top Ranked Status and “Formidable Reputation” – Chambers & Partners 2013

The Chambers and Partners Bar Directory Rankings published on 1st November 2012 demonstrates continued success in our chosen fields of practice. Littleton has maintained a top ranked status for Employment Law. 38 members of Littleton achieved a ranking in differing areas of legal practice and no less than 14 of our members have seen their rankings improve in Employment Law and Commercial Litigation. Three of our silks are ranked for the first time in the “new silks” rankings. In addition, we are particularly pleased to see that 3 of our younger members – David Lascelles (dispute resolution), Alex Robson (employment) and Katherine Apps (administrative and public law) – are ranked for the first time as “up and coming juniors “. In addition we have 7 members ranked for Commercial Dispute Resolution.

The Directory comments that:

“This set maintains a formidable reputation for its work in all areas of employment law, and regularly represents major employers and senior employees in the Employment Tribunal, High Court and at the appellate stage. It has a notable presence in the market for cases with a commercial element, and regularly handles injunctive relief matters. Commentators regard the set’s strength at all levels of seniority as a real advantage and the client-friendly approach of the barristers and solicitor-friendly approach of the “helpful and responsive” clerks make this a set of choice for many”.

Littleton’s Commercial Director, Nigel McEwen, says:

“We are proud to be recognised by Chambers & Partners for the excellent work and service we have provided our clients throughout the year.  Our thanks are to our clients too who are responsible for giving references to Chambers & Partners and therefore contributed to us maintaining our top ranking again this year.”
