The Littleton Sports Law Group was delighted to welcome final year law student, Francesca Turner, as part of its ‘Inspire Sports Law’ initiative. She spent a number of days in chambers, shadowing various barristers, attending hearing including at the Court of Arbitration for Sport, and working on sports law matters. We wish her well in her finals and future career.
The Littleton ‘Inspire Sports Law’ initiative, founded by the Head of the Sports Law Group, John Mehrzad, is designed to support athletes transitioning away from sporting careers, and encourage those from under-represented backgrounds to come to the Bar. Work experience in chambers is offered, together with subsequent mentoring and support with, amongst others, applications and interview preparation.
