Tom practices across Chambers’ core areas of expertise, including commercial, company, statutory employment, business protection and sporting disputes. He is comfortable acting as sole counsel or working as part of a wider counsel team.
Before coming to the Bar, Tom represented members of the Cleaners and Allied Independent Workers Union in employment disputes, assisted Professor Meg Russell and Dr Oliver Garner in their research on constitutional law and politics and taught debating in prisons with the charity Vocalise. As an undergraduate, he finished among the top performers in his faculty’s graduating cohort. He then received major scholarships from Gray’s Inn and the City Law School to study the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Bar Course.
