Grahame Anderson and John Mehrzad in LawInSport on the new FIFA Intermediaries Regulations

On 1 April 2015 the new FIFA Intermediaries Regulations will come into effect, replacing the FIFA Player Agent Regulations.  These new regulations will abolish the previous licensing system for individuals to act as football agents to players and clubs.  They have been described by critics as heralding the “Wild West”, whilst FIFA has explained that they are necessary for transparency.  They are subject to legal challenge and are controversial to say the least.
Having spoken at various agencies and conferences on the subject, John Mehrzad and Grahame Anderson, of the Sports Law Group at Littleton, have now written for LawInSport.com on the new regulations. Click here to read the blog
