Following the removal of the 20 partner limit and the introduction of LLPS, two decades ago, large LLPs have continues to grow as has the popularity of firm management structures which leave individual partners with minimal involvement in firm management.
The recurrent question of what rights (if any) individual members should have in those circumstances is highlighted by planned reforms to the law on employment status.
This seminar will address the issues faced under existing law including individual member rights, together with the tactical issues thrown up by different rights of recourse in arbitration and employment tribunal.
What impact will the proposed Employment Bill reforms and the heralded move to a ‘simpler framework’ for employment status have in the LLP and partnership arena?
Timings: 6pm-9pm.
