Littleton is pleased to announce the election of John Bowers QC and Naomi Ellenbogen QC as joint Heads of Chambers, with effect from 1 May 2014.

John and Naomi have been members of Littleton throughout their careers. Each is a leading practitioner and mediator. John was called to the Bar in 1979 and took Silk in 1998. He is an Honorary Professor at the University of Hull, a member of the Council of the University of Kent and the author and editor of many practitioner texts. He sits as a Recorder and Deputy High Court Judge. Naomi was called to the Bar in 1992 and took Silk in 2010. Naomi is the first female Head of Littleton.

Stepping down from his role as joint head after eight years, Andrew Clarke QC commented: “It has been a pleasure to lead Littleton over recent years, which have seen substantial growth in all areas of Chambers’ practice. I have enjoyed working with and developing an exceptional group of barristers. I am sure that Naomi and John will bring to the role the energy and enthusiasm needed to maintain our reputation as a set of highly skilled and specialist practitioners and to drive our practice forward.”
