The Head of Littleton’s Sport Law Group, John Mehrzad KC, has been appointed to chair an independent review of UK Athletics’ handing of issues concerning the Nike Oregon Project in order to ensure its future governance and assurance framework is robust. John was the only legal panel member on the independent review into the culture and climate of British Cycling. He then chaired the independent review into governance issues at the British Equestrian Federation. He has also written and presented on good practice and procedure for independent reviews and investigations in a sporting context.
