Following his involvement in 2018, John Mehrzad, Head of the Sports Law Group, has been invited back onto the Steering Committee for the Integrity and Impact Award, founded by Dow Jones Sports Intelligence, to be awarded at the prestigious BT Sports Industry Awards on 25 April 2019.
The Committee is comprised of global figures, recognised for their expertise and contribution to integrity and governance in worldwide sport.
John’s appointment follows his membership of the panel which conducted the independent review into the culture and climate of the world-class programme within British Cycling, his subsequent appointment to chair the independent review into governance at the British Equestrian Federation, and his general sports law practice involving domestic and international disputes and policy issues.
