Littleton Sports Law Group Hosts F.A. Rule K Arbitration Breakfast

On Wednesday 28th March 2018, the Littleton Sports Law Group was delighted to host sports law practitioners and representatives for a breakfast seminar on ‘FA Rule K Arbitration – Practice and Procedure’.

The session – led by John Mehrzad and Ashley Cukier – addressed current issues in Rule K Arbitration as well as providing practical tips and insights on the Rule K procedure itself, from commencement of the arbitration through to the Final Hearing, the Award and Appeal.

The pair, both of whom are regularly instructed in FA Rule K Arbitrations (the former, frequently, as an FA Arbitrator) recently appeared together in the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, successfully acting on behalf of an international footballer in a case concerning termination for just cause, liquidated damages, compensation mitigation principles, and sporting sanctions.

Littleton has particular expertise in football-related matters and sports law generally, and is ranked as a leading sports law set in the directories. For enquiries, contact one of the clerks on 0207 797 86900 or clerks@littletonchambers.co.uk.
