We are thrilled to announce that Naomi Ellenbogen QC has
been appointed to the Board of the Bar Standards Board, and will take up her
post from 15th September. The Board is made up of fifteen people, eight of
whom are not barristers; a lay majority. The new appointments help to ensure
the Bar Standards Board have expert input from the profession into their
independent public interest regulation. The board
members were selected from a wide field of strong candidates by an independent
panel, chaired by Dr Kenneth Fleming.
