Professor Erika Szyszczak lectures to the Turkish Competition Authority

Regulating dominant firms has become an
important item on the EU competition law agenda in recent years with high
profile cases taken against Microsoft, Intel, Astra Zeneca.  Turkey has
been adapting its national laws to comply with EU law as part of the
negotiations for accession to the EU. One important development in 2014 was
the  adoption of a  set of guidelines on the enforcement of
Article 102 TFEU to implement the European Commission Guidance on Article 102
TFEU in 2009.  This series of lectures delivered by Professor Erika Szyszczakwill examine the new developments in the enforcement and case law of abuse of
dominance in the EU, looking at the current investigation into Google and the recent GC
ruling in Intel.
