A new publication “The Investor-State Dispute Settlement System: Reform, Replace or Status Quo?” has been published by Kluwer Law International. Co-edited by Alan M. Anderson and Ben Baumont, the publication features 20 chapters from 29 contributors from around the world, as well as a foreword by Annette Magnusson, the secretary general of the SCC in Stockholm. The book focuses on the on-going debate surrounding possible reform of the investor-state dispute settlement system, including the current discussions within UNCITRAL Working Group III.
Amongst the contributors is Anthony Daimsis, who authored Chapter 10 of the book: “Striking Back: An Investor’s Right to Confront Its Home State’s Decision to Terminate Investment Protection Agreements”.
