Further to their regular analysis of the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme, David Reade QC and Daniel Northall are cited in the most recent House of Commons Library Briefing Paper on the Scheme. Such briefing papers provide impartial information for Members of Parliament of all parties and their staff and help support MPs in their work scrutinising Government, proposing legislation, and supporting constituents.
David and Daniel’s views were cited extensively in relation to the use of furlough by administrators, employer eligibility for the Scheme, agreement to furlough, recoverable wage costs and the relationship between furlough, sickness and annual leave.
