The Employment Tribunal has dismissed claims of sexual harassment from a former paralegal against Linklaters. Charlotte Davies successfully represented Linklaters, whose former head of technology was accused of harassment on three occasions. The former paralegal also alleged that her contract with the firm had been terminated because she had rejected these advances. The ET found that all allegations were false and judgment stated “The claimant was not subjected to the alleged unwanted conduct at all”.
The case has been widely publicised, including in The Lawyer (subscription required) and The Law Society Gazette.
Charlotte Davies acted for Linklaters, instructed by Sian Keall and Claire Skinner of Travers Smith.
